Unless you have some form of color blindness you probably take seeing colors for granted. But did you know that 8% of men and .5% of women have some kind of color vision deficiency? This not only impacts their daily lives but can actually disqualify them from entering certain careers such as becoming a pilot or train conductor.
And for the longest time that’s just how it was. That is until Andrew Schmeder and Don McPherson came along. A few years ago this pair discovered a form of glass that acts as an optimal filter that targets specific photopigments. They started a company called Enchroma and have been changing lives ever since.
